I know the path of healing and self-compassion is not always a straight forward one. As an intern at Falstraightforwardls Church Wellness Center, I am looking forward to walking with you on the path to your most authentic self. I provide counseling to teens and adults of all ages and diverse backgrounds. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am welcoming of all sexual orientations and identities. I provide counseling that focuses on increasing self-confidence and self-acceptance. I want to foster a feeling of being known deeply and I do this by transparent communication with you.  

My therapeutic approach uses person-centered, humanistic, existential, narrative-based, and cognitive behavioral perspectives. As I gain experience through my internship, I am growing with you as I use my skills so we can grow together.  

I received my Bachelors in Psychology at East Carolina University and am currently pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. If you feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or you need to untangle your thoughts and feelings, my door is open to you and I look forward to hearing from you.
