Alina Ludwick, Intern Counselor |Phone: 571-295-6991 Email: aludwick.fcwc@gmail.com

If you’ve spent much of your life holding things together for others, you may feel disconnected from yourself beneath the responsibility. I am a therapy intern at Falls Church Wellness Center, where I provide counseling to adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds in a respectful, affirming environment.

I work with clients who experience anxiety, stress, low self-worth, and difficulty understanding or expressing their emotions. In therapy, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and able to explore their life experiences at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is to help clients build self-confidence, self-acceptance, and a stronger connection to themselves.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, humanistic, existential, narrative-based, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives. I value collaboration, transparency, and emotional safety, and I believe meaningful change develops through trust and consistency within the therapeutic relationship.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from East Carolina University and am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University under clinical supervision. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am committed to providing inclusive and affirming care. If you are feeling overwhelmed or struggling to make sense of your thoughts and emotions, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
