MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN
We all struggle throughout various stages of our lives, but I believe no one should struggle alone. One of the most courageous decisions you can make is to begin to take back control over your story. Life demands a lot from us in many ways that are unique to every individual. My approach as a counselor is to meet each client and their unique needs exactly where they are upon beginning counseling. My goal is to offer my clients a safe non-judgmental space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions to ensure that no one has to walk this journey alone.
I am an Intern Counselor at FCWC and am currently working towards a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marymount University. Previously, I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from American University. I have clinical experience working with anxiety, depression, relational issues, life/occupational stress, eating disorders, bereavement/grief, athletes, and families of military. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults.
I aim to provide a comfortable and safe therapeutic environment for clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and religions. Mental health is a critical component of our overall health and must be nurtured and prioritized to enable us to live as the best versions of ourselves. I look forward to being a part of your journey towards optimal health and wellness.
I am unable to take insurance as an intern in counseling, but in lieu of insurance I am able to offer a lower rate of $75 per session instead. I am supervised by Shannon Graves. To schedule an appointment I am best reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, but can also be reached by phone at (703) 249-9561. I look forward to meeting you.
