Reaching out for help when experiencing turbulence in one's life can be uncomfortable and even intimidating, but it is especially brave. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, “big T and/or little T” trauma, grief, addiction, and/or feeling out of control – you don’t have to go the path alone. A compassionate and trauma-informed approach that reflects empathy and non-judgment will be at the core of our sessions together. This therapy space is safe for you to share feelings that may be too overwhelming or scary to process alone or with others.
My approach includes IFS, ACT, and CBT through a trauma-focused lens. I can offer new tools/techniques and information to better understand yourself by exploring aspects like - thought patterns, parts of self, attachment style, etc. Together we can cultivate a kinder relationship with yourself and better understanding of your relationships with others.
Brené Brown said, “Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” You’ve already shown immense courage by considering therapy. When you're ready, I would be honored to guide you in your healing process.
I’m working toward my clinical licensure in the state of Virginia. My Clinical Supervisor is Jessica Stoler, LPC, CCTP-II.
Rate: $150 per 50-minute session
