MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN

Michelle Campbell
I am an intern counselor at FCWC and supervised by Cheryl Zandt, LPC. I am completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University to further allow me to pursue my purpose to help others on their journey to healing.
I am passionate about seeing people live a life that brings them joy, peace and love. In fact, it is my purpose. It may sound cliché, but there is nothing more satisfying than to know you have everything it takes to push beyond your adversities and face the struggles and challenges of everyday living head-on. I recognize that sometimes life has a way of presenting us with what may seem like more than any one person can handle. Sometimes it’s a matter of getting out of your own way and out of your own head. Other times, it is more complicated than that. Faulty negative thinking can create poor decision making and bad choices that can lead to feeling stuck, frustrated, anxious, and emotionally exhausted. Together, we will work to identify those interferences so that you can create a new path – one that is built on constructive, positive thinking and emotional strength and wellness. I believe nothing is impossible when you give it your all.
Working from a cognitive-based therapy approach, I promise to be authentic, sensitive to your needs, compassionate toward your issues, open to carefully listen and hear from you, and transparent in our collaboration regarding your growth and healing. I am humbled by the experience to work with you in a safe, non-judgmental space.
