Kaylee Bashor, Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, Resident In Counseling, MA |Phone: 571-749-5348 | Email: kaylee.fcwc@gmail.com
I understand that it can be scary to take the first step in initiating therapy. My role as a therapist is to provide a comfortable, collaborative space where I can meet you where you are. With warmth and empathy, I will support your path toward healing and embracing your authentic self.
As a former neuroscience researcher and Nashville musician, I offer a holistic and research-driven perspective to therapy. Using a client-centered perspective and a trauma-informed lens, I integrate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems theory, mindfulness techniques, narrative therapy, expressive arts activities, and the Gottman Method to tailor sessions to your unique goals.
Regarding my specialities, I support the following groups:
- Older adults, caregivers, and families navigating aging life transitions or dementia diagnoses
- Couples struggling with communication, intimacy, conflict, or life changes
- Teens and young adults experiencing OCD, ADHD, anxiety, or peer issues
- Parents of children and teens
- Perinatal women
I am also a Certified Grief Informed Professional and help clients process all different experiences of grief. These can include, but are not limited to: the death of a loved one, relationship loss, infertility, pregnancy loss, job loss, anticipatory grief, and grief related to disability.
I have both in-person and virtual availability.
I offer a free, 15 minute consultation for those who would like to learn more about therapy. If you are interested, please feel free to email me at kaylee.fcwc@gmail.com or give me a call at 571-749-5348. I hope to have the privilege of connecting with you!
I receive supervision from Dr. Martha Rackets, PhD, LMFT.
