MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN

The challenges people bring to therapy rarely exist in a vacuum. They are shaped by relationships, identities, and systems that deserve to be understood in their full context. I believe that healing happens when we make space for all of it - not just the symptoms, but the story behind them.

I am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Mason University, completing my internship at Falls Church Wellness Center under the supervision of Kimberly Anderson, LPC. I work with couples, families, and individuals of all ages who are navigating mental health challenges and life transitions. If you or someone you love is struggling with anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, disability, chronic illness, perinatal or postpartum difficulties, trauma, or grief, I am here to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to process, make meaning, and move forward. I warmly affirm and welcome LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of the global majority, and all those who hold minoritized identities - you deserve care that truly sees you.

My therapeutic lens is intersectional, affirming, and culturally grounded. I draw from Feminist Theory, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and Liberatory Counseling to honor the broader systems - cultural, familial, and social - that have shaped your experience, while integrating practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support skill-building and lasting change. Social justice is not a backdrop to my work; it is at the center of it. I am committed to showing up as a counselor who understands that personal pain and systemic harm are often deeply intertwined, and who will never ask you to leave your full identity at the door.

In practice, this means our work will be both grounding and expansive: concrete and practical enough to help you navigate the day-to-day, and deep enough to address what's underneath. My clinical work is further informed by both research experience and my own lived experience as a member of minoritized communities. This foundation that deepens my understanding of the issues my clients face and fuels my commitment to staying current on the evidence and perspectives that shape culturally responsive, justice-oriented care.

You do not have to fit a particular mold to belong here. Our work together will be collaborative, strengths-based, and centered on what feels most true and meaningful to you.
