If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like life is harder than it should be—you’re not alone.
Many of the people I support are navigating ADHD, anxiety, stress, effects of trauma, relationship struggles, or simply feeling unfocused and unsure how to move forward. I understand how heavy that can feel, and I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and practical. I work with teens, adults, parents, couples, and families throughout Northern Virginia. I speak fluent Cantonese. I did not have a tiger mom but I was not always good at school. However, I learned executive functioning skills that I now share with my clients and parents. My academic journey includes a master's degree in social work from George Mason University, Master's in Business Administration from Harvard University, & a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I integrate evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, and the Gottman Method, along with a holistic and mind-body perspective. I also draw on family systems work and real-world strategies that help people function better day to day—not just understand their struggles but change them.
I offer parent coaching for families navigating ADHD, digital device conflicts, school stress, and emotional or behavioral challenges.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is both grounded and practical, I’d be honored to support you.
