MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN

Samantha Robinson, Intern Counselor |Phone: 571-234-1697 Email:  srobinson.fcwc@gmail.com

Hello! My name is Samantha, and I am a graduate student in the Mental Clinical Health Program at George Mason University. I have 14 years of experience working with families, children, and teenagers, and I currently teach high school English. Additionally, I am a professional photographer specializing in empowerment sessions for couples and individuals, which is inspired by my counseling journey. I enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults with diverse backgrounds and identities.

As an intern therapist, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings. I empower clients to discover their purpose and have the autonomy to make choices based on personal strengths. My approach integrates techniques from humanistic, person-centered, trauma-informed, and systemic frameworks, supplemented by mindfulness and solution-focused strategies. This comprehensive method allows me to effectively address the emotions, behaviors, and environmental factors that may be influencing my clients' well-being.

If you believe I am a good fit for you and are interested in scheduling an appointment or consultation, please feel free to reach out via email at srobinson.fcwc@gmail.com or call me at 571-234-1697. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey.
