So often we hide away the parts of ourselves that carry pain, worry, or shame. Therapy is where those parts can finally breathe. I see therapy not as a way to fix yourself, but as a space to approach your story and feelings with compassion and curiosity. When the parts of you that feel dark, anxious, or heavy are welcomed instead of pushed away, real healing can begin.
Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe and steady. You’ll set the pace, whether that means looking back at painful experiences, working through current challenges, or practicing new ways to handle stress and emotions. I see the challenges we face as shaped not only by our emotions and self-perception, but also by the systems and relationships we move through every day. I integrate CBT, DBT, IFS, person-centered, and relational approaches so our work fits who you are, not the other way around.
My specialties include working with teenagers (14+) and adults facing anxiety, depression, identity exploration, self-esteem, life transitions, sexual concerns, burnout, and relationship or family challenges. I also provide affirming support for LGBTQ+ clients, immigrants, and those navigating multicultural identities or family pressures. My goal is to help you feel more grounded in yourself and find relief in the everyday.
I offer free 15-minute consultations for those who are curious about therapy. I can be reached by email at sydney.fcwc@gmail.com or by text/call at (571)-295-8275. I am currently seeing clients virtually only, through a secure online platform.
My supervisor is Jess Stoler, LPC, CCTP-II.
